BOLIVIA: Next aim: `closing down congress'
One of the leaders of the protest movement that drove President Gonzalo Sánchez de Lozada to resign last year has announced a new wave of `mobilisations' aimed at `closing down congress' and carrying out `a constitutional reform that will break up the hegemony of the political parties through the convocation of a constituent assembly.'
